After booking a session one of the most common questions I get asked is: ”So what should we wear?” This is an important question because wardrobe is an important element in your family’s photographs. When picking out clothes for a family session, resist the urge to run out and buy matching white shirts and jeans for everyone. Just remember: matching-bad, coordinating-good!!! Pick a few complimentary colors and select clothes around those colors. Dress comfortably, be yourselves, and have fun with it! Notice a color palette of light blue, tan, white, and navy blue. It all compliments each other and looks great!

Don’t forget simple accessories, layers are are awesome, and try to select some pieces with texture- these things all add visual interest for your photos!
