Whether you envision beautifully simple portraits, a sweet and minimal cake smash, or a completely customized celebration, your session will be thoughtfully styled to reflect your little one. From wardrobe and backdrop selections to the finishing details, everything is planned for you so you can simply arrive and enjoy the experience.
These sessions are playful, fun, and centered on your baby exactly as they are at this moment- the smiles, the curiosity, the frosting-covered fingeres, and all the wonderfully unpredictable expressions in between.
Because they are only this little for a moment, but the portraits become part of your family’s story forever.

Your baby’s first birthday deserves more than a few quick snapshots. It deserves to be documented with the same care, creativity, and attention that made their first year so meaningful. Every session includes thoughtful preparation, access to my curated collection of baby outfits and accessories, professional studio lighting, and gentle guidance throughout the experience. With more than 17 years of experience photographing babies and young children, I know how to work with short attention spans, changing moods, and all the wonderfully unpredictable moments that come with this age. The result is a fun experience for you and a beautiful, personality-filled collection of portraits you will cherish long after the cake is gone.
Cake is not required for your session. If your little one might prefer something else, we can pivot! Some popular alternatives are fruit (watermelon, blueberries, strawberries, etc), speghetti, steak, donuts, cookies, pancakes and waffles just to name a few. To create a cohesive and visually appealing setup, choosing a theme or color to complement your little one’s favorite food is highly suggested. Clients are responsible for supplying any alternative food used during the session.
Each session requires a $200 session fee + digital collection cost. The session fee reserves your session date and covers the planning and styling from my curated collection of outfits/backdrops/props/accessories and studio time. Each digital collection includes the number of fully retouched portraits listed below, with additional images available for purchase.
Optional balloon garland and twinkle lights can be added to any session for $95
