The first days with your newborn are a soft, hazy blur of wonder—a season of life that is as delicate as it is fleeting. A newborn session gives you the chance to slow down and preserveall the tiny details you never want to forget- from their delicate features and sleepy expressions to the way they fit so perfectly in your arms.
Since 2009, I have photographed and gently handled newborns with an emphasis on safety, patience, and following each baby’s individual needs. My Shingle Springs studio is kept warm, calm, and comfortable, allowing plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and snuggling whenever your baby needs it. Nothing is rushed and there is never any pressure for your baby to perform.
Every detail is thoughfull planned for you. I provide a carefully curated collection of wraps, outfits, props and accessories to create portraits that feel beautifully styled while keeping your baby at the center of every image.
You are welcome to sit back, put your feet up, and enjoy a quiet moment while I take care of your little one. My goal is for you to feel completely at ease, knowing your baby is being handled with experience, patience and care.
Welcoming a new baby is a lot. Planning your newborn portraits should not be.
Your session includes much more than time spent taking photographs. I help you prepare beforehand, guide you through wardrobe and styling, provide everything needed for your baby, and create a calm experience that allows you to simply be present with your family.
Each session requires a $200 session fee + digital collection cost. The session fee reserves your session date and covers the planning and styling from my curated collection of outfits/backdrops/props/accessories and studio time. Each digital collection includes the number of fully retouched portraits listed below, with additional images available for purchase.
Book both newborn and maternity sessions and save $50-$100. Contact me for more info!
